Mr. Alvarez primarily focuses on real estate transactions, including project permitting, financing, and protection, as well as advisory to Home Owner Associations. Having advised international firms such as Pfizer, he has deep knowledge of international contracting and multi-national business relations. Mr. Alvarez oversees the Central Pacific office (Herradura Bay Office).

JAVIER BERROCAL OBANDO

As a former expat living in New York, Javier understands the challenges migrants of all sorts face, be it from the simplest aspects of a relocation to the more complex issues a foreign investor might encounter. Providing immigration and relocation assistance to our clients has been his focus for over 15 years, with hundreds of successful residency applications under his belt.
Mr. Berrocal is actively involved in the business structuring, contractual relations, real estate, asset protection, and living trust structures service offered by the firm, leveraging his business and law background.

Lawyer and Notary Public. With extensive experience in the corporate market, as well as in private law, she has specialized in advising investors to close deals at the local level.
She has outstanding experience in telecommunications regulation, having advised companies such as Tigo, Liberty and worked directly with the Superintendency of Telecommunications, as a legal advisor.

With more than three decades of experience as a legal practitioner, Mr. Alvarez has led complex asset protection structures for foreign citizens; local business development advisory for international corporations; numerous commercial litigations matters, and foreign investment advisory. He is the co-founder of the Renewable Energy Promotion Agency (Fundacion para el Desarrollo de Energia Sostenible).
